Plato will expand federal highways

Using the funds transferred to the federal budget through the Platon state system, they will increase the number of lanes and repair bridges on federal highways. This will be done taking into account the wishes of the carriers themselves regarding the list of priority objects.

November 15, the state system “Plato” celebrated 4 years. During this time, more than half a million freight carriers and 1 million 250 thousand vehicles are registered in it.

Plato accumulates a huge amount of updated data on the structure of the freight transportation market every second, which makes the system one of the most important components of building a large-scale digital platform. Such a platform allows predicting trends and directions in the development of the transport industry, ”said Minister of Transport Yevgeny Dietrich.

The federal budget has been replenished over 4 years thanks to Plato by 90 billion rubles. With these funds, more than 2700 km of the most problematic roads in 40 cities and regions and over 30 bridges in 19 regions of the country have already been repaired. This, in particular, the bridge across the Volga in Dubna near Moscow, across the Terek in Chechnya, across the Pine in the Oryol region, across the Desna in the Bryansk region, the Belorechensky bridge in the Krasnodar Territory, the Zatonsky bridge in Ufa, the Sverdlovsky bridge in Penza, the Bor bridge in Nizhny Novgorod , two bridges in Buryatia and four in Udmurtia.
Plato enhances the transparency of the freight market and is a source of legally relevant information for the state. He made it possible to obtain actual data on the load of roads and traffic intensity, the calculation of the actually traveled mileage of vehicles from 70 countries of the world. Also, information is automatically provided in the Federal Tax Service, Federal Customs Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
