France “allowed” Russian carriers 45% more
In 2020, Russian truckers will be able to make 45% more trucking to France, the press service of Rosavtotrans told Logirus. The decision to increase the permit contingent was made during a meeting of the Russian-French Mixed Commission on International Road Transport.
For 2020, the Russian side agreed 17 360 permits. A preliminary exchange of permissions is planned before the end of December. Thus, the contingent of permits for 2020 has been increased by 45% since 2016, according to Rosavtotrans. This amount will fully satisfy the needs of Russian international road carriers and next year will provide the necessary number of flights to France.
The members of the mixed commission also discussed the contingent of permits for 2021. They also number 17 360 pieces. And in 2022, the parties will be able to make 18 360 flights each, including 17 500 one-time flights in bilateral and transit traffic.
